EDITOR — Since the new government took office in May of this year, members of Devon Pensioners’ Action Forum have written letters to the Prime Minister and the heads of various government departments.

EDITOR With regard to the discussion of traffic and the proposed Sainsburys store in Ottery St Mary one possible solution is for the Sainsburys short-stay carpark to be at the west end of the site with the exit opening on to Canaan Way.
EDITOR It appears that the Tony Hayward Factor, the BP executive who has infuriated the Americans over the oil leak, has rubbed off on Julie Bishop, the Tesco corporate affairs manager, who has managed to equally infuriate the population of Axmouth.
EDITOR I would like to say a very big thank you to the Good Samaritan who very kindly posted my lost purse through the Seaton Police Station letter box at some point on Tuesday, August 3rd.
